One week in October in Iqaluit, Nunavut, the daily high temperatures were -4.6°C, -0.5°C, 1.2°C, 2.3°C, -1.1°C, 1.5°C, and -3.0°C. What was the mean daily high temperature that week?
To find the mean you first add every number.
-4.6+-0.5+1.2+2.3+-1.1+1.5+-3.0
Then you just simply divide the numbers to the amount of number there is.
(-4.6+-0.5+1.2+2.3+-1.1+1.5+-3.0) ÷ 7 = -0.6
Or you can Just simply do this -4.2÷7= -0.6
-4.2 is the sum of all the numbers.
